Burnout is major hazard of day to day life as a neurodivergent person. To provide the best therapy I can I honour my need for deep rest, space to move and time to live.

I take three planned breaks each year — in spring, summer and winter. These are scheduled well in advance to support continuity and predictability in our work together. You’ll never be charged for sessions during these times, and I’ll always remind you of upcoming breaks ahead of time.

I’ve found that regular, restorative breaks are a vital part of therapeutic work. They give all of us space to reflect, rest, and integrate. As a therapist, this rhythm supports my wellbeing and continued professional development — helping me to show up with clarity and presence.

This may feel different from other therapy experiences, and that’s intentional. I believe in modelling the boundaries and care I hope for my clients, and creating a therapeutic space that honours energy, seasonality and sustainability — this is especially important for those of us who are neurodivergent or prone to burnout. My planned breaks for 2026 are below:

Planned Breaks in 2026

Spring Break: 6th April – 5th May 2026

Summer Break: 3rd August – 1st September 2026

Winter Break: 7th December 2026 – 4th January 2027
